Registered Nurse

Staff Today, a HAN Division, is seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a Correctional Facility in Taylorsville, North Carolina.
This is a registry position in which working for Staff Today at the state facility.
Pay Rate:
$62 / hourShifts Available:
6p-630a Nights 12 hoursBased on needs of facility varying shifts will be offered ie:
5am-5:
30pm or 10am-10:
30pm 36/48 and every other weekend or 12-10:
30pm (4) 10 hour shifts with every other weekend.
This is for ALL positions.
Higher need for 2nd shiftJob Responsibiliies:
Provide professional nursing care/treatment to patients in accordance with medical protocols, written policies and procedures, and the NC Board of Nursing scope of practice.
Conduct sick call/assessmentAssisting the physician.
Carrying out orders, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
Respond to medical emergencies.
Monitor patients for communicable diseasesCounsels for compliance with diet, medications, and treatment.
Respond to inquiries, medical appointments, orders medications and supplies and additional nursing care duties, as required.
Minimum
Qualifications:
At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered NurseA valid and current license issued by the state of North CarolinaA valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
Must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
